People who list their vehicle for the amount they are asking in thousands as a single digit. IE they want $26,000, but put $26 and then say $26k in the body.
Like this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Unfortunately I like to troll, so I emailed him that that was too much money for a decent bug and I would give him $125.00.

Drives me nuts too! I’m looking for terrible cars, I don’t want your 125k car I want a 125 car! also when the do “tags for you car” in the car section; and finally when a dealer is selling In the owner section for “just 425 a month this could be yours!”

The worst is when people just put 1 dollar and say “give me an offer”. no YOU name a price you lazy price of shit. Also when I’m looking for a car under a certain price point I usually put over $100 also to weed out a lot of these.

I start my searches at $100 for that reason. What I hate are key word spammers I’m looking for a Studebaker I’m not interested in your Civic.

Also this sort of thing
https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/5908944713.html
People ask hugely varying amounts for Grand Wagoneers, so I wouldn’t even know where to begin to offer for one of this guys THREE 1990 Grand Wagoneers, not that it’s my job anyways, Craigslist isn’t a silent auction. Maybe I’ll actually call the guy, but probably not, I have a distinct feeling the asking prices won’t be reasonable

Hnnngggg, I want a Grand Wagoneer, but yes I agree. CL is here is what I want, either take it, leave it, or make me an offer now that you know what I want for it.

There is one dealership in the I think it’s near Rochester Mn, it doesn’t matter what you’re searching for, their cars will pop up. It not even a big dealership either they usually don’t only have 6-10 cars listed at a time.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 13:53 |

I do too, but then you have the people like this, so sometimes I start at $200.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 13:54 |

Exactly, this isn’t a silent auction you piece of shit! I always email with a $1.01 offer.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 13:54 |

Yeah exactly, fuck off dealer and get out of my non dealer search.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 13:55 |

That’s usually why people don’t put an asking price, because deep down they know what it’s worth but they think “if I don’t set a price than maybe someone will offer even more.” In reality if you don’t set a price you’re asking to get low balled.

Oh man me too, but I mm assuming these will be somewhere between $5-15k, depending on.....who knows what, but that’s the spread I usually see. Regardless, I can’t justify that much on a big 4x4 I don’t need, even though my girlfriend badly wants one.

I hate that too. When I narrow my search by price, I put a $200 minimum in to weed the bastards out.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 18:05 |

Yeah, I benifit of the doubt $100, but it is getting worse and worse.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 18:58 |

I imagine a $100 bottom would get most of them. I do $200 because I’m not currently in the market for any car that actually costs between $100 and $200 ... I already have one of those in my fleet.

Lol, fair point.

This is in actuality, the best $140 I’ve ever spent.

Well I can’t fault that if it is road worthy.

The AC even works, much to my surprise. I’m going to rallycross it to death next year. Might do a spot of ice racing too.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 19:16 |

I bet that’d be pretty well on both those fronts.

Should be lots of fun. I picked up some barely used snow tires for $50 to help it out. The seller turned out to be an Oppo lurker.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 19:19 |

Really?! That is awesome!! Great steal on those tires too.
![]() 12/22/2016 at 20:09 |

Yep! Really nice guy too. He was moving to a warm weather state and didn’t need them. That was one of those deals where I didn’t even bother negotiating. $50 for a set of nearly new tires, I just paid the man.

Yeah seriously. I am really glad I don’t have to deal with that, but I really want to try Snow-nuts
![]() 12/22/2016 at 22:34 |

Snow-nuts are fantastic. My favorite wintertime activity is tooling around the neighborhood grabbing oppo at every turn (on purpose of course) at well below the posted speed limit.
![]() 12/23/2016 at 11:41 |

That sounds like a blast
![]() 12/23/2016 at 14:36 |

It is. Driving is the snow is the only thing I like about winter. Everything else about it sucks!
![]() 12/23/2016 at 16:34 |
|
NO! Winter is amazing, the holidays suck
![]() 12/23/2016 at 16:44 |

Cold sucks. Salt sucks. Shoveling snow sucks. Having to spent 10 minutes scraping ice off your car before you can go anywhere sucks. Sorry, winter sucks.
![]() 12/23/2016 at 16:57 |
|
Cold is WONDERFUL! I agree salt sucks! Shoveling snow is negligible. I have never minded scraping my windows. Snow is awesome. Best Time Of Year!
Hot sucks! You can always make yourself warmer, but you can’t make your body colder. You can layer up, but there is a point where you can only get so naked and then you can’t go anywhere.
![]() 12/23/2016 at 23:39 |

When it’s so cold it hurts, cold blows chunks no matter how many layers you put on.
Hot sucks too, that I can agree with.
